Error OxcOOd36c4 on exported movies
[ New ]Hi there....I can create a movie just fine using GoPro Studio, but when I export it in YouTube format (I have tried other formats also), it seems to export OK but when I try to open the file I get the error message "OxcOOd36c4 Unable to play file. File may be corrupted or in an unsupported format". I found a similar post on here where someone suggested deleting the hidden file "Appsettings" C:\Users\{username}\AppData\Roaming\GoPro . I tried that but no joy.
I have updated Win10 running on a 64 bit system. I have tried to update my graphics card (Intel HD Graphics 4000) but couldn't do that. I can't find a link to update GoPro Studio either.
Any help with this one would be much appreciated. Many thanks in advance

Re: Error OxcOOd36c4 on exported movies
[ New ]What I meant by proxies being similar to Studio, is Studio requires the step of rendering videos to a different format before editing. When you create proxies it's basically the same thing, you'll render be videos to edit. The difference is, in Studio you make larger files while with proxies, you make smaller files to work with.

[ New ]What are you using to open/play the files? Have you tried uploading to YouTube to see if they will play?

Re: Error OxcOOd36c4 on exported movies
[ New ]Aha...didn't realise that and must confess that I had not used Studio for a couple of years. I haven't tried to upload them to YouTube and might give that a go, but even VLC can;tplay them so I don't think they will work. May I ask what is now used to replace GoPro Studio ? I tried Quick, but it didn;t seem to do longer movies ?
Many thanks for your help with this one - much appreciated

[ New ]DaVinci Resolve is a professional editor, and considered by most to be the most advanced color grading video tools available. You'll be very happy you learned it if you put in the time.
Best of luck!

Re: Error OxcOOd36c4 on exported movies
[ New ]Since you are used to Studio, making proxies shouldn't be that big of a deal for you. Basically, proxies are just low resolution videos used while editing. Because they are low resolution, they are less taxing on your computer and playback much smoother. When you go to render (save your video), the program takes the changes you applied to the proxy files and applies them to the full resolution video files. Although you will be working with low resolution videos, the final output with be full resolution/for.
Be sure to look up how to make proxies when you get started.
