Error 0x800700aa attempting to access GoPro5 files from Windows10

My friend has a GoPro5 Black and if we attempt to access the files via USB cable from his Windows10 computer, we get the 0x800700aa (in-use) error.  We can copy/move the files using Windows Explorer from the GoPro5 to his computer and then we can access via Windows programs.  On my GoPro7 Black I can access files directly using a USB cable and Windows10.  Is there a fix or solution besides copying all the files?  We'd like to access (from Windows) only those files we select without bringing them all in.

Re: Error 0x800700aa attempting to access GoPro5 files from Windows10

Hi @greencliff48818

Kindly try this: go to Device Manager> Find GoPro> Select "Disable" then "Enable".

Try to launch Quik for Desktop again and see if it makes a difference.

You may also refer to the resolution posted on this link.

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks!
Ej
