Whenever I try to run the installer it would take me through the full process of it and say its installing but when I open the folder where the files should be installed there is nothing there. the software shows up in my lists of programs but no such files for it exist. I've tried installing the software on a spearate driver but it still doesn't install any files. It lets me uninstall the software but it seems as if it's just removing it from my programs list since there are no files to remove. I had quik running on my desktop a few months back but then randomly when I wanted to upload some gopro footage to it, I had realized the software was gone and the setup software was where the app was. it startled me because I thought I lost my footage but it only removed the software randomly without me knowing. I do not know how long the software was uninstalled for because the installer software was placed where the actual app was. could this be an issue with registry files?

I have already found a fix for the issue. All I had to do was to remove all registry data of the gopro software and completly reinstall it and now I have it installed and fully functional.

@epiccave44002, you may need to uninstall Quik for Desktop first in order to reinstall the app. This can also be done through Program and Features. Open the Start menu, click Settings, click System on the Settings menu, select Apps & features from the left pane, select Quik for Desktop and click the Uninstall button that appears.
