Can't find edit option for any media on go pro app [ New ]

I am new to Go Pro as user.

Just bought Go Pro Hero 9 with subscrition. I want to edit the video on my go pro app on desktop as well as phone, but cant see the edit option. 

I saw many similar question, but that wasn't able to solve my question.

I am unable to see create or edit pic/video option which comes on top in desktop mode. Attaching thepic.

Also, i tried to edit in web app version also, it didn't work.. Please, help.

@rapidflare5500, I understand that you're accessing your GoPro Media Library on the cloud. You can trim the clips, however, there's no editing tool available for files uploaded to your GoPro cloud. You have to download them to the GoPro App on your phone or locally on your computer so you can edit them. If you have the Quik for desktop installed, you can download them through this app and edit within the software.

2 things.

1st. there its written that "We have moved on"  Is is something like Go Pro stopped doing development of that software ?

2nd:  I am Linux user. I can't see any option for Linux.
