After I import all my videos into Quik and/or iMovie, the audio is completely out of sync with the video. I am using a Macbook Pro, latest IOS, GOPRO Hero 5 black. Any sugestions as to how to fix this issue? Thank you!

Does the issue affect all video files that you have from your GoPro camera? Is there any particular resolution setting that is affected?
Which operating system is your computer running on? Are you using a recommended SD card like one of the recommended cards here?
If you have not tried it yet, manually update your camera's firmware and see if it makes any difference. You can find manual update instructions detailed in this article.

Thank you for the reply! The issue does affect all videos downloaded from the GoPro camera regardless of resolution. Like I said on the initial post, I am running the latest IOS on my MacBook Pro. I am using the recommended SD card. The firmaware on my Hero 5 is up to date. I will call support and see if I can solve the issue. Fingers crossed. Again, thank you for the reply!
