360 media viewable in iphone app, but not on Mac

[ New ]

Hey there,

Using my gopro max for the first time, have a hard time getting the files onto my computer.

I can connect my iphone app to the camera and view my 360 video files.

However the gopro will not connect to my macpro and the gopro quick app via usb at all.

Then when I remove the SDcard and plug it in directly, it only saw 1 video that wasnt 360.

The 360 videos are not visable, though it does show space used on the card.

Any ideas?

Hello @adeptstar2541. Quik for desktop app doesn't support 360 or spherical (MAX and Fusion) media files.

You can use the GoPro Player to view, convert and reframe the 360 media files. See How to Use Reframe in the GoPro Player for further details.

You can also use an SD card adapter to access the files in the microSD card.
