1 out of 6 Video files corrupted

Hi there
I am new to my GoPro and recently did some filming on it for the 3rd time.
I have just used QUIK to take the 6 video files from my GoPro Hero and have been sucessful with 5 of them, but film 3 seems to be corrupt.
I cant play the MP4 file on anything that I have?

Any help? Is this a known issue?

The memory car remained in the camera. The camera wasn't dropped/knocked or anything like that.
As you can see from this screenshot it is file GOPR2957

Re: 1 out of 6 Video files corrupted

Hi again
the resoloution is 1080 @ 25fps
No change for any of the films - they have all been taken the same - as I said in my last message, i press the shutter to start and again to stop - thats all ive done.

I have managed to solve the issue, by running the file through a piece of converting software, and converted it to an MP4 file again - this has worked.
Just really frustrating that I have to do this if i get a corruption

Re: 1 out of 6 Video files corrupted

Hi @thevwdoc

What camera and SD card are you using?

Are you able to play the file directly on the camera?

Do you still remember the settings used when the video was recorded?

Thanks!

Re: 1 out of 6 Video files corrupted

Hi Aragon 1006

The Camera is a GoPro Hero+

I am uisng a Sandisk Ultra 32gb class 10 Micro SD card
No, the camera doesn't have direct playback facility

Nothing was changed at all between videos, i pressed the shutter button to start, and pressed again to finish - that was all

Thanks and kind regards

Re: 1 out of 6 Video files corrupted

Thanks for getting back to us @thevwdoc

Do you still remember the resolution and fps used? Was the setting sames as the the other files?

The SD card you have is not one of our recommended SD cards.

To consistently achieve the best results with your GoPro camera it is important to select microSD cards that are known to work well with your camera.

Thanks!

Ej
