Re: will the microphone on the gopro hero 7 white cope with over 100db of noise without crackling?
[ New ]It's going to depend on what the noise peaks at, also how far away you are from certain noise sources. For instance speaker systems blaring music or annoucements could overdrive the mikes, whereas crowd chants etc should be fine.
You can always try and see what happens.

Re: will the microphone on the gopro hero 7 white cope with over 100db of noise without crackling?
[ New ]Probably not, 100DB of noise is very dangerous and would actually overdrive most microphones. The Hero 7 should automatically cut out this noise due to overdrive which would result in a cackling sound.

[ New ]Thanks, just wondering if it would handle being in a loud area such as a football match or concert etc.
