Unfortunately it's hard to give a proper diagnosis with such limited information.  What modes are you recording in?  Are all the recordings the same length?  Is this random or does it happen every time you record?  What size memory card are you using?  How is the camera being powered?

 

You should make sure you are using a recommended SD card by checking the compatability list here:

https://gopro.com/help/articles/block/microSD-Card-Considerations

 

You should also try manually reflashing your camera software, instructions can be found here:

https://gopro.com/update

@janbru1960, I agree to what has been suggested by @irishmanpdx. Typically, recording issue is correlated to either a problem with the SD card being used, or the camera itself. Try using a different SD card (if available). If it records fine, then the issue is likely stemming from the SD card. It is also advisable to format the SD card before use. (NOTE: Reformatting the SD card will delete all data off of the card, so be sure that you save any videos or pictures you want to keep on your computer before reformatting the SD card.)

Reinstalling the firmware update of the camera can also help correct any errors with the current software installation.
