when i veiw my videos back on my pc they are in slow motion

probably made videos at 60fps or higher and your player plays them at noramal speed (30fps)

Yes, is your video player playing back at a reduced frame rate than in what you recorded the video. That, or your computer is just struggling with the resolution/frame rate.
