Re: what pc to play HEVC files on
[ New ]I have the same problem as thatsodd. Only it's for my iPhone. I have set the pictures and videos to be compatible with other devices. But still, on GoPro website explains what's HEVC and what system works with it. It did said that Windows 10 should be able to handle it. I can hear the audio playing but there's no video or picture. This problem was mentioned earlier and someone said Windows 10 took it out due to it being expensive (doesn't seem right). I can get the codec but that'll cost me $0.99. Pretty cheap but why should I need to pay for it?

Re: what pc to play HEVC files on
[ New ]In terms of choppy videos, in my case, choppy videos occur because i was using an old laptop. Not sure of its configurations but could be the problem. I do have some links for you to check out. There's some talk on reddit and stuff on Youtube as well
