weird green line in video on go pro hero9 [ New ]

when shooting in a timewarp, the video has a vertical green line on the leftmost side.

but while taking the screenshot on VLC, the strip vanishes.

can anyone help?

also, side note- the timewarp was shot upside down.

@shc6, just to check, do you see the green line on the actual video or on the recording screen only? Do you get the same results when you playback the video in the camera?

playback on Davinci resolve- green bar

MicroSD used in this is rated at- V30

Can we have the brand, type, and capacity of the SD card used, please?

To further isolate the issue, can you also try playing the files on your phone through the GoPro Quik app?

im using Sandisk V30, U3, 64Gb, 160Mbps

surprisingly it plays ok on the go pro quik app

@shc6, since the problem only happens when you playback the video on your computer, something might've caused the issue either during the file transfer or the computer is unable to playback the footage smoothly.

Please run any available OS updates and make sure to have the latest update for your Graphics Card/s driver installed.

Try to copy the file/s again from the SD card to your computer.

i tried to transfer it from the original source two more times and got the same problem

the computer is running 2019 pc components and a 1600 series graphics card, so I assume that shouldn't cause bottleneck

but, yes it is getting clear that the problem might be in the transfer of the file or the playback
