I have just updated my Hero 5 Black, (following the instructions to the letter) once competed after powering up an a "Successful" upate the rear view screen is now blank and unresponsive....
Any Idears out there????

Please go over these steps to try to correct the issue:
1. Check to ensure that the SD card is not inserted between the SD card slot and the battery as this can put pressure on the back of the touch display.
2. Perform a manual update. https://gopro.com/update/
3. After the update, perform a Factory Reset. Tap Preferences > Factory Reset, and then tap Next.

If you said you updated and when the gopro copleted, and it went blank then seeing it correctly come on fill theform out gopro provides and decide your call back or chat. reflashing a brick firmware? hmmm
