using powerbank or battery handgrip into gopro in cold weather

using powerbank or battery handgrip for gopro during winter

i will going to winter place on august 2020. thus is'nt suitable to use direct powerbank or battery handgrip especially for video recording and  night photo timelapse without using any gopro battery because it was draining too fast in cold temperature?

Re: using powerbank or battery handgrip into gopro in cold weather

Just find a nice sizable battery back for the GoPro.  Remove the internal battery first and then hook up your power bank.  Make sure it's got a 5V 2A output and you should be able to power your camera that way for extended timelapses.

Just remember, you will need to remove the door of your camera to do this so therefore it will no longer be water proof as long as the door is off.
