after a much anticipated wait on the hero 6s' release, i finally got to pick one up for myself upon release (first gopro 6 sold in the bestbuy i went to).
but lets fast forward so to keep this short, after failing to update via mobile app (using an android, s7 edge), i decides to do it manually.
shortly after the update, a weird phenomenon started happening to the cam itself. it started shooting in split screen. and if thats not enough, it wasnt so much of the displays fault, but the file with the split screen view actually saved onto my card.
i uploaded the video on YouTube in hopes for gopro to see it. no im not trying to bad mouth gopro hero 6 but rather, hoping to grab an employees attention in order for them to sort this out. after all, its only day 1 (well, day 2 now). still pretty early.
i wont post the link here as everyone might think its a click bait, but if you search: " gopro hero 6 dual view " on youtube and you see the uploader being me, give it a watch to see my claim.
anyways, i hope this isnt a hardware issue but rather just a bug. or better yet... an unrefined future "feature" of some sort of v.r/3d experience.

wow thats a bit weird. I noticed after the 4k/30 it said SUPR, i assume thats Superview. If so looks like the GoPro's got a stitching/stretch glitch
