time lapse over 4gb

Tried to do an afternoon's worth of time lapse. Settings were RES 4k, INTR 10s, FOV WIDE. FIrst 4gb file worked as expected. But subsequent files were not time lapse but normal video.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks

Re: time lapse over 4gb

Hello @bbiesele

How did you go about checking the subsequent files? Did you do time lapse all the way or were there also normal recordings? See if this is associated with file chaptering (which is automatically done by the camera once a certain file size is reached), and the file naming convention. Please check if you have the correct subsequent videos through this:  https://gopro.com/help/articles/question_answer/GoPro-Camera-File-Naming-Convention

Let us know how it is. Feel free to post back for additional details or questions.

Thanks,
Marius

Re: time lapse over 4gb

gopro has a few timelapse settings   Please do tell us which one you wanted,

Look at the camera  the first is video mode,  then photo mode  then timelapse video mode.     one does it manually the other  autmatically.
