Well, for what it's worth, YouTuber DCRainmaker seems to think that it has Superview in Boost modes according to his review.
"HyperSmooth Boost is supported in the following modes:
2.7K (16:9 & 4:3): 60/50/30/25/24

@low5er, I'll have the information verified with the team in charge. I'll keep you posted with any new information I get. Your patience and understanding are very much appreciated.
Soo, did the "team in charge" say anything about the possible resolution & HyperSmooth combinations yet?

Thank you for the feedback, everyone. Apologies for the confusion on the previously-linked article on HERO8 Black - Video Settings and Resolutions . It has been updated and now reflects the correct information.
This article: HERO8 Black - HyperSmooth 2.0 presents all the resolution and settings where HyperSmooth is available. Currently, High and Boost are not available when the camera is in SuperView FOV.

So being that high and boost are available in 4:3 in some resolutions, are there plans to add it to superview being that superview IS 4:3 stretched out dynamically to 16:9? Would think that wouldn't be too big of a deal...
Actually I don't see any 4:3 resolution that supports HyperSmooth High in the updated chart linked above. Yeah Boost there is, but Boost also cuts away more from the image to achieve that level of stabilization, so that's not totally unexpected. Although really SuperView should then work with Boost just as well.
However, no High setting with SuperView means there's no reason for me to buy the Hero 8 over my 7 at all. Pretty big letdown, that original resolution overview seemed so promising.
Maybe firmware updates will add this functionality later on, but I don't have high hopes for it. There's probably not enough spare screen "real estate" for the "High" stabilization to work with the same amount of cropping as "On" when 4:3 / SuperView is selected.
