Last weekend i went sailing and wanted to film some awsome shots. Sadly i could only get about 1 hour of video shot at 1080p60 until the battery died. As my breaks only lasted an hour the battery wasn't fully charged. So in the afternoon i could only get around 40 min of video. As im on the water for at least 2 hours, id like to have at least 3 spare batteries.
When looking at spares, a lot of them had a voltage of 3.85V instead of the 4.4V of the OEM battery. If i had the money i'd buy some of Gopro but with a charger it would set me back +100€ which i dont have. So i went to search on aliexpress and amazon, but they all have a 3.85V voltage and was wondering if it would work well with the gopro hero 5 black before i spend 50€ and wait 3 weeks to know
Thnx for the help,
link of some id buy:

Unfortunately these are not officlal GoPro products and therefore not supported by GoPro. There is a possibility that using non standard batteries in your camera could damage or invalidate your warrenty. Not worth the risk if you ask me.

I only own OEM batteries and use them in my camera's. I have tried other 3rd party batteries before and honestly, they weren't worth it. They either didn't last as long, didn't hold a charge or caused other issues (faulty chargers, overheating etc.). So honestly, if you spend a couple of hundred on a camera and then use knock off batteries in it, you could be out a camera and that's just not worth the investment. Now if the battery vendor says "we'll replace your camera should it be damaged by our batteries" then that's a different matter, but then again, I doubt they will.
