screen has froze

after connecting the gopro silver 7 with the USB to my laptop then detaching the USB I have a message on the gopro saying the "USB is connected" when its not. The buttons on the gopro are not responding and the message is permently on screen. What do I do ?

Hello, @kenb666. It is odd for the camera to keep displaying the USB connected screen after being detached from the computer and the cable. Does this always happen? 

 

See if manually updating the camera firmware will clear the issue. The steps under Manual Update here will guide you. Let us know how it goes.
