"No Battery"...Dead in 2 years?!
[ New ]My Hero7 lives an easy life as a vlogging camera so no impact/water issues here.
After a night of blissfully charging I woke up to a dead camera. I have five batteries and a new one sent by GoPro...it will recognize none of them.
It will also not charge. Attached by cable the right light quickly flashes and that's it.
The ONLY way it will turn on is if I take out the battery and plug it in and KEEP it plugged in. When it turns on here it will say "NO BATTERY" whether the battery is in it or not.
I contacted GoPro who invited me to buy a Hero8. I refuse to believe a two year old camera is dead with no obvious cause and if it is I certainly don't want another one.
I have tried all sorts of wizardry from taking out the SD card to doing a factory reset.
Seems a lot of peopel have this issue...anyone find a solution?

Re: "No Battery"...Dead in 2 years?!
[ New ]I did...and they told me to go buy a Hero 8.
I don't want more GoPros if they die in 2 years.
