quik (v 2.5.1.462) not working with window 10 (HP Envy)

Hi,

Once my GoPro Quick Desktop app launches, it seems I cannot add any media & the app doesn't recognise my GoPro Hero 5 camera.

None of the app functionality is enabled, for example, when I click on "File" in the top left corner of the app - all of the options are disabled/"grey".

 

Please let me know if there is anything you are aware of to repair this.
