Not really sure what your issue is but it sounds like you can't get Quik to work with your GoPro Hero 8 GPS gauges......... and this is common as Quik does not support the GoPro Hero 8.

If you are having a problem with Dashware it's either because Dashware is old and outdated or you simply did not have a GPS lock when you started recording.

I recommend RaceRender instead.

The Hero8 GPS data is not compatible with Quik for Windows or macOS. You can find some alternative software to edit your videos with telemetry gauges here: https://community.gopro.com/t5/GoPro-Telemetry-GPS-overlays/GoPro-Telemetry-Resources-software/gpm-p...
