If you're talking about the soft light around the tree branches this can be caused by a number of things.

1:  Dirty lens/Greasy lens.  This can happen if the lens is being clean incorrectly (tissue, kitchen towel, t-shirt etc.).  You should always use a soft clean dry microfiber cloth to clean your lens.  Failure to do so can result in you buffing light, almost invisible, scratches into the lens.  In return, this will cause the type of soft lighting issue you're seeing.

2:  Wrong ISO setting on the camera.  This will cause the sky to be too bright in footage and give area's of dark and light a soft filter effect.  Change your ISO settings or use a gradiant filter.

3:  Humidity inside the lens cover.  Alcimatize your camera to the shooting conditions before you start to shoot.
