the faulty cage or harness seems to make sense. Do you have a picture of the cage that GoPro sent as replacement and have they acknowledged this to be the root cause of most of these issues ?

I don’t have a picture. But I assume they know it’s a recurring problem bc they immediately knew to change that. They give the hex tool and extra screws, very simple.

After reading the good news about the cage I got on the live chat with support today. It took five minutes and was painless. They have a cage coming to me via snail mail. I will post if it resolves my issue.
