[ New ]last month my GoPro Hero 5 leaked during usage at an outdoor pool. the lcd went black, front lcd is ok. i sent it for repairs on my Store warranty but they refused. said it could be negligence on my part. I got video during usage just before water comes inside. it supposed to be water proof/resistant right?

Re: my hero 5 leak when used at outdoor pool
[ New ]Hi @junnara
So long as all camera doors are closed, the HERO5 Black is waterproof down to 10m (33ft) without a housing.
While water damaged cameras are usually not covered by the standard warranty, we still want to look into what happened.
Please coordinate with our Support Team regarding this. As each incident is treated uniquely, they may ask you for pictures of the camera and/or mount that was used and other additional information to help us determine what we can do to extend our help.
