keeping track of settings for each video clip?

Any advice on how best to keep track of the specific settings for each video you take with the Hero8 Black?  e.g. resolution, shutter speed, iso, bit rate, etc etc

Is there any way to record this on the screen when you record?

Doesn't seem to be this level of info in the metadata within the GoPro Quik app after bringing it into that?

Is the only real way to do it to verbally record/call out the setting yourself at the beginning of the video?

thanks

@callagga  What you want is a way to read XMP data: Exiftool do this: https://exiftool.org/

Cheers

Right click on the video file, select properties, there's the info right there.

@sylkgx  - do you see Shutter Speed in your metadata?  Which field name is it?

@callagga
Shutter Speed Value / Exposure Time, but these meta are only saved on photos.

Some other meta are missing on video, like F Number, Focal Length, Metering Mode...
