is it possible to use a micro sd card with greater capacity then 64GB in a Hero4? [ New ]

Hi Folks,

I bought a GoPro Hero4 Black at an auction and am finally looking at the manual for it.

It states: The HERO4 Black camera is compatible with microSD, microSDHC, and microSDXC memory cards with a capacity up to 64GB.

My question is this: can one use a higher capacilty micro SD card...now that they make them...like a 256GB?

Hello, @fastwave34168. HERO4 and HERO Session cameras support up to 128GB. There is a list of recommended SD cards at https://community.gopro.com/t5/en/SD-Cards-that-Work-with-GoPro-Cameras/ta-p/394308 for our reference.
