how to put rode videomicro on gopro hero 5 session

I recently got the Rode Videomicro (microphone) for the Gopro Hero 5 Session. I can't figure out how to attach it to the actual GoPro.

Help?

Re: how to put rode videomicro on gopro hero 5 session

For the Hero5 Session you will do better mounting the mic to a selfie stick or other mount, rather than to the camera as it's going to be hard to not have the mic in the lens view.

If you want to mount the mic to the camera, you'll need a case like this one
https://www.amazon.com/Kupton-Housing-Waterproof-Protective-Accessories/dp/B071VRX3N9/ref=sr_1_7?s=e...

To attach the mic, you can use a cable clip like these https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06XTH9XWN/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

The cable clips will also work to attach the mic to a selfie stick.

With the adapter fishy linked to, you can connect the adapter to the Session's USB-C port, and then connect the microphone to the adapter.
