@rapiddawn22784 - Check that your camera's firmware is up to date. You can do that by doing a manual update on the camera's firmware. Instructions are at https://gopro.com/en/us/update/hero8-black. Also, check that the SD card you're using is compatible with your GoPro. Our list of recommended cards is at https://community.gopro.com/t5/en/SD-Cards-that-Work-with-GoPro-Cameras/ta-p/394308.
