Re: gopro hero session not turn off

Well written, so no trouble there 😉

Sorry to hear you're having issues. It sounds like there is a problem with the SD card and the camera is unable to close the file at the end of recording. The heat your feeling is most likely the camera working overtime trying to repair the file.

Please be sure you are using one of these cards https://gopro.com/help/articles/Block/microSD-Card-Considerations

Also, you will want to run a MANUAL update. https://gopro.com/update/hero_session

Download the file to your computer and extract the Update (not Update.zip) folder and then move it to your SD card. For best results, format the SD card in your computer first leaving the label (name blank) and making sure you have chosen FAT32 for 32GB and smaller and exFAT for 64GB or larger (although honestly, you really don't need or should use, anything bigger than 64GB).

Re: gopro hero session not turn off

Hi Danielr15, thanks for your quick response.

In fact, while I was waiting for your response, I just browse some forum message, and I've found a lot of message like mine (sorry for the multipost).

Reading those message I'm pretty sure that the sd card is the problem, because I have a simple class 10 SanDisk, but not a Extreme.

Maybe GoPro should write more clear which are the sd accepted, cause understand it after the unboxing should be too late.

Anyway great product, and great support, THANKS!
