gopro hero 9 - black screen before using it

Hiya, 
I'm trying to get access to the support team but they don't reply so far. 
Does anyone else have a black back screen on the gopro hero 9 black, which basically makes it unusable? And more importantly, how can I fix this? 

I haven't even had the chance to use my gopro ! :(

Yep, same issue but after a few days of using it.  I connected with Support and the only option is to do a warranty replacement.  No real way to fix yourself.  You can try a factory reset, which is holding down the side power button for 10 seconds.

@aragon1006  can you please let me know when I will receive a call back. I just have a very simple query, and the chat function on this website is non-existing. Furthermore, the call-back function doesn't give you an indication of how long it will take either. 

I have spoken to the support team yesterday, and they told me I need to send my gopro back using the AMF form sent to me via email. And that form will tell me what to pack. I'm sorry, but I'm not very confident in shipping out my gopro when the form tells me the item is "ASSY, FINAL, BOILERS, WI-FI / LATE CERT / ROW "

and the description is: 

" ASSY, FINAL, BOILERS, WI-FI / LATE CERT / ROW "
andt he item no.:
"210-29453-..."

Sorry for any trouble caused.

The RMA document will work.

You would need to send the unit only. Do not include the battery or the SD card.
