gopro fusion bugs

[ New ]

hi,

folgende bugs hat meine gopro fusion.

Danke

Glad to hear back from you, @oliw5046.  The Samsung Evo Select 128GB card though is not a recommended card for the Fusion (see lower chart of values on the recommended cards page. Have you been able to manually update your Fusion according to instructions? How did it go? It is bets to isolate the issue further by making sure that the camera is manually updated and a recommended card is used. We would love to know what happens after these steps.

Should you need further assistance though, our Support team will be glad to help. You can reach them through phone or chat here https://gopro.com/help/ContactUs

Best regards,

Marius

Hello @oliw5046

Thank you for the details that you provided. Please see the answers per item.

  1. You maybe operating your camera with the QuikCapture function activated. When the camera is set this way, pressing the shutter (red) button directly when the camera is off will initiate a recording and pressing the same button to stop recording will also cause the camera to turn off. You having to open the battery compartment to get the camera starting again is an unnecessary step. Do you have to pull out the battery every time? For more information on QuikCapture, you can read this article
  2. What happens when the camera does not turn on with the power button? Do you see any power indicator on the camera?
  3. This is odd. However, the SD card that you are using is not a recommended one for the Fusion camera. If possible, try with a recommended one and see if you still get the weird names or the misspelled ones. You can check the list of recommended cards here

If you have not tried it yet, manually update the firmware of your Fusion camera. Do this even if the Fusion already has the latest software version. A manual update can clear out possible errors associated with the current installation. You can find manual update instructions detailed through this link

Let us know how it works out.

Thanks,
Marius

Danke für die Antwort.

Oli
