google store no gopro app found [ New ]

I just purchased a hero 8 black and am unable to find the GoPro App on my Android phone, only the Quik app.

what phone are you using and what version of android is on the phone?  It's possible your phone is so old that only Quik is showing up, the app uses android version 7 onwards I believe.
