flooded baterry

Hi,

I flooded my gopro battery, not completely but I had my second battery in my bag pocket and after strong raining I found out that battery is wet. Now the question is: if I can put this battery back into camera and try if it work. Or if Its risky for my camera to put in flooded battery?

Thank you for your help.

Boris.

Re: flooded baterry

Hello @cimmo

Thank you for reaching out. We recommend not to put the battery in if it is has been wet or flooded. The battery may not be fully dry and could leak, eventually damaging the internal components of the camera.

Best regards,
Marius
