battery drains very fast

My battery  of a brandnew gopro max is draining very fast . Empty in half an hour

What to do about it

Battery drain can be caused by a few factors, including the resolution and frame rate you're using, but if you're getting drain in just 30 minutes, there's likely something else going on. The first thing to check is that the SD card you're using is compatible. Our list of recommended cards is at https://community.gopro.com/t5/en/SD-Cards-that-Work-with-GoPro-Cameras/ta-p/394308. An incompatible card can cause the camera to be in a constant sync state that uses a lot of power quickly. If you have another card from that list, please try that card and see if the issues continue.
