Zoom Facility on the Iphone `XR with Hero 7 White [ New ]

I very seldon get the facility on the iphone to zoom, is there something I must do to make this facility available.

Zoom is only available in certain shooting modes.  For instance if you are shooting in 4K you wont' have zoom available as you would be cropping the picture and it would no longer be 4K

If you shoot in 1080P there should be a zoom available (if supported by your camera)

It is there sometimes and not others, I dont have 4k on this gopro
