Will I get better quality in 4k or 2.7k? For linear footage

Will I get better quality in 4k or 2.7k? For linear footage. There's no linear mode for 4k so I would have to fix it in post. But I also saw some comparisons where the 2.7k details are not so great. Also, if I go 30fps it doesn't even use HEVC.

Any ideas? What is the best setting to get linear footage?

Hi @grandjump43684

4k is way to go.

You can always correct it in post and then you'll have an option to reframe it as well without losing quality.

HEVC is available in 4K 60 FPS.

There are a lot of tutorials available on how to remove fisheye or straighten GoPro footage using third party editing software.
