Re: Why do all of my Hero 7 photos have severe ghosting?
[ New ]A note about SuperPhoto. SuperPhoto will attempt to take the picture in HDR. If it detects movement in the camera, it will change to preference to either Tonal mapping or Reduced noise. Finally, if the camera analyzes the scene and does not find any of the advanced settings appropriate, it will not apply them. However, if your camera is mounted and steady and the subject moves as the SuperPhoto is taken, there is a chance that the ghosting will occur.
BTW: If you have Adobe Lightroom or Photoshop, taking photos in RAW will give you the best results. It wont look great straight out of the camera, but you will be able to edit and color grade with much more detail and depth.

Re: Why do all of my Hero 7 photos have severe ghosting?
[ New ]Wish I knew about this before I got started! Just came back from an amazing family cruise vacation and there's ghosting in every photo!! So mad and disappointed! Is there a way to edit/select from the layered photos where it doesn't appear? Kind of like you can do with the live HDR photos on an iPhone? Praying I can... Thanks, Sharon

Re: Why do all of my Hero 7 photos have severe ghosting?
[ New ]@gamora, apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused you. This is something that has been shared to our team already. Ghosting may happen when SuperPhoto is enabled and the movement of the camera or the object occurs while the photo(s) are being taken.
Unfortunately, we do not have any preferred methods of fixing "Ghosting" in an image. However, you may be able to perform a Google search to find various recovery options to fix the footage. Yet, please do your research on whichever application is best for you as it may require activation of the software and there may be varying costs.

[ New ]J'ai le même problème avec un gros ghosting sur les photos....
C'est quand même con de prévoir un mode superphoto et de ne pas pouvoir l'activer pour avoir des photos correctes

Re: Why do all of my Hero 7 photos have severe ghosting?
[ New ]Hello @stoutjump12378. You can still use the SuperPhoto mode. To prevent ghosting, be sure to have the least amount of movement when shooting. Using a tripod or a mount to keep the camera stable will help greatly. To lessen the chances of ghosting, avoid using SuperPhoto/HDR for fast-moving objects/subjects.

Re: Why do all of my Hero 7 photos have severe ghosting?
