I've been seeing all the issues with the no sound while using quick capture and that apparently has carried over to Hero6....(how this is possible from a design aspect to release a previously defective model is another topic). But my question is regarding the Pro 3.5mm Mic Adapter. It is not sold anymore...I have looked in multiple stores and online. On GoPro's website, it is OUT OF STOCK (https://shop.gopro.com/accessories-2/pro-3.5mm-mic-adapter/AAMIC-001.html). On Amazon, a used adapter is 3x's the original price.
What's the deal with this mic adapter? Has GoPro finally pulled it off the market? Any word on the fix?

Thanks for your response @airstrat. It is out of stock though, I posted the link to GoPro's site to prove it. I picked up the RODE Videomicro as well and stopped by numerous stores (where I have seen it for sale previously), called even more stores and looked online with no luck. Several people at different stores said they do not carry the Pro Mic Adapter anymore (including BestBuy, Academy, Guitar Center, etc...).
SO...with all the issues they've had with the Hero5, and now the Hero6, I'm trying to figure out if GoPro pulled this off the shelf and is not selling anymore until they figure their audio issue out.
I did find 2 of them on Amazon though, in used condition, for almost 3x's the price.
