Water inside the small screen + doesn’t turn off

So today I swam with my my gopro and when I came home, I noticed a lil water inside the small screen! After that, I. still managed to transfer all my photos thatbI captured but then after I turned off and took off & on the battery, it stopped working!! From now It won’t turn on... I put in to bowl of rice lol...

Good to hear that the files are fine.
It's not really ideal to put the camera in rice if it was used with salt water. As salt residues builds up.
While water damaged cameras are usually not covered by the standard warranty, we still want to look into what happened. Please coordinate with our Support Team regarding this.
As each incident is treated uniquely, they may ask you for pictures of the camera and/or mount that was used and other additional information to help us determine what we can do to extend our help.

So today I tried again and it starts working! But the front small screen ain’t showing anything! Besides that everything is fine.
