Water damage my GoPro
[ New ]Hi. My GoPro has water inside, it's not even turning on.
I didn't even go deep it was just snorkeling for 5ft down.
How come when it's supposedly had to be waterproof as mentioned in the box and Ads and thats why I bought it ..
Its only 3 months with me..
Im very upset actually.
Im living in dubai and i don’t know what to do??

Regarding the battery door, please try to open the door and check that the push tab is popped back up. If not, pop it up by pushing on the underside.
The door must be flat. For reference, you may also check the video on this link.
Also, would you be able to share a picture of the camera? This will help us assess the issue further.

[ New ]It is hte Responsability of hte User to check all doors that they are closed, you did that, so like said get to the Retailer if new or get to gopro see what hey can do for you about Options. let us know what happens next?

Betreff: Water damage my GoPro
[ New ]Ich habe mir am 1.6.2019 eine GoPro Black 7 gekauft. Beim Einrichten wunderte ich mich über das Akku-Fach, woraus es nach dem Schließen hell durchschimmerte. Ganz offensichtlich schloss es nicht dicht. Besorgt um die Dichtigkeit brachte ich sie am 3.6. zurück. Ein Verkäufer meinte, die sei trotzdem dicht. Das war mir zu unsicher und ich tauschte sie ein. Jetzt wo ich die Horrormeldungen hier lese, weiß ich, dass der Verkäufer keine Ahnung hatte. Offenbar ein Fehler beim Zusammenbau und eine fragwürdige QC beim Hersteller.
