When I connect my new Hero (2018) to a Roland video switcher V-1HD the image doesnt show up properly. (See attatched image) Im guessing it has something to do with input settings but the V1 HD wants 1080 60 wich is the same settings the gopro has.

What could be wrong?
I connect the gopro with a hdmi cable

I solved it now.

My camera was set to NTSC, when I changed to PAL it worked fine.

Didnt know I had to download an app to change the settings

Have you tried using other ports on the switcher?

Have you tried changing to a lower resolution?

You may want to check with Roland regarding the setup requirements.

Great to know that, @bluecave30517. The app that you have downloaded will also allow you to easily import your file from the camera to your mobile device, and allows you to control your camera remotely when paired with the mobile device. Thank you for posting back. Stay stoked!
