Video issue with Quik on Kindle

Hello

I recently purchased a kindle fire 8hd and downloaded qui k to edit my gopro session video but only audio works. I tried entering the SD card and photos do work but again the screen only show black with video audio. This also happened in my android phone. Is there something I'm missing? Please help, thank you.

Do you still remember the resolution used when the video was recorded?

What is the version of the app installed on your phone?

Do you also have the GoPro app installed?

Have you tried playing the files on a computer?

Hi Ej,

We record our videos in 1280 × 720. The app version is Quik version 5.0.2.3992-6d2f024f3 and we do have GoPro (formerly capture) app from Playstore installed. When we transfer the files from the memory card directly into the computer, they do show.. audio and video.

Also, what is the model and OS version of your Android phone.

Hi Ej, I ended up returning the tablet but I use a LG Stylo2, hardware version rev.1.0 and had the latest LG version.
