I'm trying to edit videos on my GoPro Hero 6 (latest firmware) using the GoPro Android app, and when I browse the videos on the camera all the long videos appear as 11:18. One for example is actually 53 minutes long, but the app thinks it's 11:18.
Is this an intentional limitation?
Or is there some way around it?
Thanks for any help.

I don't think so. When I download it to my laptop it's a single 54:00 file. And when looking on the camera it's a single 54:00 file as well.
I'm recording at 1080p if that's a factor.

That's a pretty huge limitation or design flaw!
Also a really big bug.
I don't have a Windows 10 computer (only Windows 7) or Mac, does anyone know if the desktop program has this same bug?

Does it overlay the GPS gauges? That's why I'm using the GoPro app, because I'm trying to include the speed gauge in the video.
If not, does anyone know of another way to do it? I'm using a GoPro Hero 6 if that matters.
And/or does the iOS version have the 11:18 length limitation?

What size (GB) are your 11:18 files?
