Using GOpro Hero 7 with A Power Bank

Hi ! I recently purchased a GoPro Hero 7 and I will use it to record tmelapse. I have a powerbank with an output rating of 5.1v on 2.4 A 

So is it safe to use that Power Bank? As I read the hero 7 sheet it says 2 Amp is Ok But in my case it is 2.4 Amp?

Hello @ankitroc. The powerbank that you described should be okay to use. Some users share that removing the battery during extended recordings is beneficial in the sense that it will prevent any further increase in temperature while the camera is in operation. Well I purchased it for the Gopro as It support fast charging. Its all brand new ! Today I used it for recording a timelapse with no battery in gopro !
