Unable to download 4K video into my iPad Air

Cannot download 4K from GoPro Hero4 to my ipad air!!  Have been searching the forums and no answer.

I don't think iPad Air supports 4K. I see articles about secrets to 4K on the iPad Air 2, but not the Air
