Transferring Issue: Hero 8 Black

Hi All,

I'm working on editing a video I recorded and encountered an error for the first time. The videos aren't loading their previews (not the error) and when I go to transfer them I get an error saying "The requested value cannot be determined." after my computer sits in loading for a while.

No idea exactly why this is occurring. Have had no issues with the SD card or GoPro before. Thoughts on what to try?

Oh additional info: The videos play fine on the GoPro.

Hello, @ianb8764. Which media player are you using for your edits? Is the camera connected directly to the computer? How does it go when the SD card is inserted to the computer through an SD adapter instead?

Not a media player problem. I am manually moving the files over using windows explorer.

 

Yes.


I do not have an SD adapter. That may be a next step.
