Trade Up

Is it possible to check whether a camera is eligible for trade before committing to purchasing?

Re: Trade Up

There is only one check:  "Did your camera cost more than $100 at time of purchase".  If so, it's eligible for a trade up.

If you do not know what the cost was of the camera was, I suggest you just google the original release date and price point of the camera (remember, original release date and price, not current release date and price).

For example:

Sony Cybershot DSC W55 camera.  Current price online is $23 average.

Eligible for tradeup?  Yes!

Why?

Original price of camera was $200 in 2007 when it was purchased.

Re: Trade Up

"Trade in any GoPro or digital camera, in any condition.
Dented, dinged, destroyed—no problem, we’ll take it."

You do not have to call or chat with GoPro regarding a broken camera, read the terms and conditions.

Re: Trade Up

It must be either an old GoPro or an old digital camera.  If it's an analouge video camera, you should call first, they may be able to arrange a trade depending on the model.
