Also, be sure to do a FULL format of the card in your computer. Do the manual update and then format the card in the camera. Once done, do a factory reset.

If the issue persist, try a different card.

If the above, and two different SD card don't resolve the issue, contact GoPro for an exchange (assuming you purchased online with GoPro. Otherwise, exchange with merchant where you purchased the camera).

That is the suggestion support offered this am, when I called. That might be the fix. Currently testing and have not had as many issues as I had been.

Issue reoccurring. Now support is suggesting to perform a manual firmware update again but with a different SD card formatted on my PC. We’ll see how that goes
