This sensor is NOISY

I've attached a dark frame I used to try to clean up some night shots. This is not a star field it is entirely sensor noise. Is anyone else experiencing so much of it or am I just really unlucky with this unit?

Re: This sensor is NOISY

Hello, @randomblame. Do you get this at all times when shooting in dark or low light conditions? Or only with specific modes or settings?

See if this is the same issue that users have reported at https://community.gopro.com/t5/Cameras/Hero-8-Blue-Dot-Display-PROBLEM-Check-yours/td-p/495422 . There are steps on the same thread that you can try.

Yeah it's the same issue. Any low light situation causes it to be extremely noticable night lapses are ruined. The firmware is up to date I didn't see any other solutions in that thread

Are you referring to the Hot pixals all over. with shutterspeed selected? with Nightlapsing.

Some have broughtagain to gopro and never a resolution to the problem. Warranty and replacement is a solution.
